While the WW Photo Focus Stick Foundation has some quirks (like the slight tug and iffy shade range), I recommend it. The Photo Focus stick doesn’t feel as expensive as the Vanish Stick from Hourglass or the MUFE HD stick it kind of feels like a drugstore foundation. It looked seamless and the formula felt breathable, even though it was covering everything I needed it to.

Even though it tugged a bit on the skin upon application, once it was blended out, I noticed my complexion was brightened and my skin tone was evened out. I noticed it lasting all day without budging, fading, or feeling dry on my skin. I saw some reviews stating it sat atop the skin, but I think it looked really natural. It really does feel lightweight on the skin. To my pleasant surprise, the stick wasn’t as heavy, and I think I like it even better than the liquid. I like that foundation a lot, but I’m not a full-coverage girl day to day.
#WET AND WILD PHOTO FOCUS FULL#
Initially I thought this was going to be really thick and full coverage like Wet ‘n Wild’s liquid Photo Focus foundation. I was able to find a good shade match for me, the lightest shade ‘Alabaster.’ For example, the Maybelline Super Stay didn’t launch a ton of shades, but there was a lot of range in the color selection. It could be different IRL, but I think the shade range lacks in diversity. However, the swatches online seem like it focuses heavily on those medium shades and lack in tan and deep shades. There’s 21 shades, which is a fairly decent amount for the drugstore, in my opinion. For maximum coverage, use a dense brush and build where needed.
#WET AND WILD PHOTO FOCUS PRO#
The brush I prefer the WW Photo Focus foundation with is my Sephora Pro Airbrush #55, which is a dome shaped brush with longer bristles. Naturally, you get a more subtle level of coverage with a sponge, but it looked flawless. I applied it with both a brush and a beauty sponge, and liked the finish both ways. I’d say this is a solid medium coverage that’s buildable.

Once applied on the skin, I do agree that it blends to a matte finish but not in a chalky way. However, even though it’s stiff and tugs just a bit, it blends out easily onto the skin. The formula is stiffer than I thought it was going to be it’s not as creamy as the MUFE formula. So you get nearly as much product in the Photo Focus foundation stick as you do in the Hourglass Vanish Stick for a drastically lower price tag - which is awesome! But only if it’s good. For comparison sake, here’s how the WW Photo Focus stick compares in size to some other stick foundations: Priced at $5.99 CADand available at Walmart, well.ca and many other retailers. It retails for $5.99 and you get. In my opinion the Wet N Wild Photo Focus Concealer performed better than most higher end drug store concealers. It provided 6 hours of wear and after that mark I needed to go in with a setting powder to blur out any visible creasing. It blends seamlessly into the skin and feels lightweight upon application. I’ve been able to skip out on colour correcting my under eyes because it truly is FULL coverage. It povided full coverage and left behind a luminous finish. To get the best of both worlds, I put the Photo Focus Concealer to the test. When I opt for a more hydrating, luminous finish concealer, my dark circles aren’t fully concealed but dryness is no longer an issue. Available in Translucent- recommended for fair to medium and tan skin tones. Complete your foundation application with our setting powder to create a soft-focus effect and subtly blur the look of fine lines and imperfections. So what often happens when I apply a full coverage concealer to my under eyes, is that it creases instantly and intensifies the dryness of my skin. Photo Focus Loose Setting Powder, a silky weightless setting powder that can be used to set, mattify, absorb oil or bake. I have combination skin, with drier skin under my eyes as well as dark circles. To kick off the review, let me give you a little insight into my skin, in case you have similar concerns.

Packaging is simple housed in a clear tube with a sponge applicator. I found that the undertones really help it to be suitable for a wide (could be wider) range of complexions. I tried out the shades: Although the shade range is quite limiting and the range could definitely be broadened. It is currently available in the following 6 shades: Tested under various light conditions, it promises to perform under the most unflattering lighting with or without flash. Photo Focus Concealer intends to help you achieve the perfect picture without the unwanted white cast, many concealers and setting powders are known to cause.

How could I not put the Wet N Wild Photo Focus Concealer to the test? After seeing incredible results and a finish that couldn’t be any more perfect for my skin type. I previously reviewed the Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation here on the blog.
